Senior Product Designer | Fully Remote US

The Senior Product Designer will work with multiple teams to craft thoughtful experiences that add value to people’s lives. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, designing, researching, prototyping, and implementing new features and future product iterations. The Senior Product Designer will have a balance of interaction design, visual design, and product thinking skills. They will be a user advocate and research driven. The successful candidate is a great collaborator and can work independently and in a team environment.The Senior Product Designer can manage work across multiple projects and teams at different stages of the Product lifecycle, from discovery through an Agile development process. They understand and seek out information about how additional functionality can influence the entire application system. They actively participate in peer mentorship and often have an expertise area such as Design Research, Design Systems, UX Strategy, Data Visualization, or Accessibility.Essential Duties and Responsibilities of this role are:Take broad, conceptual ideas and turn them into something useful and valuable for the people using our productsAdvocate for the user through human-centered research methodologies, translating results into UX strategies and design solutions Apply product design methods that match the need of the project, providing guidance and plans, estimating work, and contributing to timelinesDrive clarity of plan, strategy and vision, building consensus with product managers, engineers, and fellow designersWork collaboratively with Product and Engineering partners from concept through release and future iterationsProvide implementation guidance to engineers and ensure features launch at the highest qualityOwn continuous learning and understanding of industry trends and emerging technologiesDesign multiple products and experiences end-to-end, with a strong foundation in information architecture, UX design, prototyping, validation through data and research, and visual designOwn or contribute to the creation and ongoing maintenance of our design systemHelp unify the user experience by continuously establishing and adapting design principles and guidelines for the productFoster a strong culture that is inspiring and inclusive towards others across all teamsAct as an excellent teammate, communicator, and facilitator
